Last month, in one way or another, we followed 68 tournaments. For some, we only know they took place, many we announced and followed, and for some, we wrote extensively.

But all of them served to create rankings of your football “battles” and to collectively track which teams are the most active and successful, both in the region and within each country. That’s why today we will “draw the line” for the end of the month and check how the tables currently look.

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA – “THE EAST IS EAST” (1999)
At the end of September, in the 2014 generation, SLOGA from Doboj is in first place (with 100 points earned in Macedonia). In second place is FK SARAJEVO, while third place is shared by FK SLOBODA from Tuzla and FK LEOTAR from Trebinje.

In the 2015 generation, at the top of the table is OFK SPARTAK from Banja Luka (which has earned 100 points in Trebinje). In second place are the guys from Trebinje, from OFŠ Alfa; and third is SFK LIBERO from Goražde.

The 2016 generation is led by FK SARAJEVO with a reserve of 100 points earned back in August in Kneževo Vinogradi, Croatia. Second is the team SOKOLAC from Sokolac; while third place is shared by Banja Luka teams – OFK SPARTAK and BORAC.

The 2017 generation, at the end of September, has three equally successful teams at the top of the table. They are TANGO from Sarajevo, FK SLOBODA from Tuzla, and TEMPO from East Sarajevo. All of them have 70 AFT points, and interestingly, none of them have been winners of any tournament, but all have been runners-up (FK SLOBODA even twice).

In the 2018 generation, the “leader” is ALFA from Trebinje, while BAMBI SOKO from Višegrad and ROMANIJA from Pale are trying to catch up. Again, it’s about 100 points for the team at the “front of the line”, and ALFA earned them precisely in Trebinje.

The age group of children under eight years old (2019 generation) is led by another team from Sokolac – FK GLASINAC. With 4 medals won at various tournaments, they set the pace for the entire generation, placing them ahead of TEMPO from East Sarajevo and two third-placed teams – ROMANIJA from Pale and SFK LIBERO from Goražde.

The youngest kids, those from the 2020 generation, are led by a trio that was also ranked that way at the tournament in Bijeljina. SPORTISIMO and UNITED (both from Bijeljina) and PODRINJE from Janja.

Geographically speaking, at the end of September, the “best places” in the tables of generations in BiH are mostly occupied by teams from the “eastern” parts of the country.

The honor of the “north” and “south” is defended by teams from Banja Luka and Trebinje, while the most visible absence is of teams from the “western” side. Their “film” we hope to see soon...

SERBIA – “NORTH AND SOUTH” (1985)
The oldest generation (2014) in Serbia, at the end of September, is led by PARTIZAN with 250 AFT points and three won medals, of which the second gold was recently brought from Raška. Second is ČUKARIČKI, and third is ZVEZDA.

In the 2015 generation – a very similar picture. Two “black-and-white” Belgrade teams have the same ranking as before, but the role of the “red-and-white” at third place has been taken over by VOJVODINA.

Already in the next generation (2016), the situation changes. Now the “red-and-white” duo is at the top, with ZVEZDA first, and “VOŠA” second, while behind them is PARTIZAN. CRVENA ZVEZDA in this generation has as many as 320 points and 4 medals won, so far.

The 2017 generation is also led by ZVEZDA with 260 AFT points earned and 3 gold medals at tournaments, while second place is shared by PARTIZAN and MLADI VUKOVI from Kikinda. This VOJVODINA places third, if it is the fourth name on this list.

In the 2018 generation, the top of the table is occupied by VOJVODINA, while they are relentlessly followed by MLADI VUKOVI from Kikinda and VUK from Paraćin. However, 165 points and five medals around the neck of “Lala” from the plain are, for now, an unattainable prize.

In the two youngest generations (2019 and 2020), the best is MERIDIANA from Novi Sad. Just that in the older of them, they are joined at the top by POLET from Karavukovo and SPARTAK from Subotica; while in the (just, just) youngest, in second place is JEDINSTVO from Rumenka, and in third are VOŠINI KLINCI from Novi Sad.

Unlike BiH, geographically, there is a far greater presence of “northern” teams in Serbia, while the “southerners” are, at the end of this month, a bit “in the shadow”. However, knowing the temperament of our compatriots, the “war” will continue.

NORTH MACEDONIA – “THE NORTHMAN” (2022)
Among the Macedonians, in the youngest age category, we still do not have data that any team has earned AFT points. In the 2019 generation, the top three positions were determined by the placement at the ILINDEN CUP.

Thus, the first team is EUROSPORT, Kumanovo; behind it are its fellow citizens from the team BIDŽO, while in third place is the team PARTIZAN FUDBAL KIDS from Skopje.

VODNO from Skopje, with 70 points, leads the 2018 generation, while FER PLEJ from Ohrid (although without medals at the tournaments played so far) is in second, and FORCA from Skopje is in third place.

Among the footballers from the 2017 generation, AERODROM from Skopje, EDEN NA EDEN, Mogila, and AZZURRI KIDS from Radovište share first place with the same number of points earned (85), but not at the same tournaments. Thus, AERODROM with one bronze is in the same position as AZZURRI with one gold, just as EDEN's team with one gold and one silver.

So, it is important (WHERE) to participate...
The 2016 generation is led by AF ALEXANDRO with three medals, second is FŠ GROZDANOSKI, and third is FORCA. Since all three teams are from Skopje, it is very clear which Macedonian city, for now, has the most success in this generation.

The 2015 generation is also led by teams from Skopje – PARK CITY and FORCA, but in third place, they are joined by BOREC JUNIOR from Veles.

The oldest generation (2014) is led by EUROSPORT from Kumanovo, followed by FK BELASICA from Strumica, and in third place is ARSIMI from Gostivar.

Football-wise, before the beginning of October, North Macedonia is truly “northern” – if we look at the number of teams coming from there to the leading positions.
