Although there are other teams that would like to take over the „leading baton“ (YOUNG TEAM from Skopje, GNK DINAMO, or NK FENIX from Ljubljana), the fact is that they have not managed to seriously threaten the Belgraders’ position. Those already at the top don’t like change – and ZVEZDA skillfully kept them at a distance throughout the season. But now, alongside HAJDUK, new contenders for the championship throne are emerging.

The leader of this new wave could come from Montenegro, because STARI AERODROM (after winning the tournament in Split) has shown that it could happen – especially since they are now in fifth place, having been much closer to fiftieth until yesterday.

This new, yet „old“ team appeared among the best almost „overnight“, but with the support of their large and loyal fan base, they may surprise us all as the season continues. So who knows? Perhaps next weekend we’ll see THREE teams at the top of the ranking list! We’ll see...
