AFT NORTH MACEDONIA: MID-OCTOBER

Naslovna slika AFT Ranking AFT Severna Makedonija
The biggest event in the world of children’s football in North Macedonia was, of course, the tournament in Ohrid – WEST BALKAN CHILDRENS CUP (so we don’t have to keep writing it out in full, we’ll shorten it to WBC CUP).

Many teams from across the region, great football and exciting matches brought us new champions and new AFT points. Naturally, this was reflected in our rankings, so it’s time to check how they look today, as of 15.10.2026.

GENERATION 2014

Thanks to the tournament mentioned above, this generation now has 28 teams that have earned AFT points so far this season. We’ve been joined by ULTRAS KIDS from Struga, as well as ALBARSA from Skopje.

We welcome them, and congratulate YOUNG TEAM on winning the bronze medal at the WBC CUP, which helped them climb to second place in the standings.

If we look at the five teams with the most AFT points, the current standings are as follows:

1. EUROSPORT, Kumanovo
2. YOUNG TEAM, Struga
(two teams share third place) BELASICA, Strumica and ARSIMI, Gostivar
4. BIDŽO, Kumanovo

It’s interesting that none of the top five teams are from Skopje, but you can check whether that will still be the case by the end of October at this LINK.

GENERATION 2015

In this generation too, which now has 31 teams in the rankings, most of the changes were driven by the points the teams earned in Ohrid.

Thanks to those points, we finally have FORTUNA 09 ER 7 from Skopje in our standings, so we welcome them too.

Meanwhile, by winning the silver medal at the WBC CUP, EUROFUDBAL moved into a tie for fourth place with YOUNG TEAM, which also climbed thanks to the points earned in Ohrid.

ULTRAS KIDS from Struga also moved up the standings and are now in tenth place, after narrowly missing out on a medal at the WBC CUP.

If we look only at the top five positions, the standings are as follows:

(two teams share the very top spot) BOREC JUNIOR, Veles and PARK CITY, Skopje
3. FORCA, Skopje
(three teams share fourth place) EVROFUDBAL, Ohrid; YOUNG TEAM and FK PELISTER, Bitola

That gives us six teams across three positions. Check this LINK to see which of them will soon “shake up” the current order of the leading teams.

GENERATION 2016

You’ve probably guessed it already – this generation was also “shaken up” by the tournament in Ohrid. As a result, ULTRAS KIDS are now in second place after winning the WBC CUP.

YOUNG TEAM are fourth after winning bronze in Ohrid. Also, FER PLAJ from Ohrid moved into a tie for twelfth place – once again thanks to their good performances at... well, you already know which tournament.

We’ve also added two new teams to the rankings – KF KORABI from Debar, who won the silver medal at the WBC CUP, and NEXT LEVEL from Ohrid. With this achievement, KF KORABI made their debut in our rankings and immediately moved into a tie for seventh place – congratulations!

Here are the top five teams after this weekend:

1. AF ALEXANDRO, Skopje
2. ULTRAS KIDS
3. ŠF GROZDANOSKI, Skopje
4. YOUNG TEAM
5. FORCA, Skopje

This “mix” of teams from Skopje and Struga is practically an invitation for teams from Kumanovo or any other part of the country to join them. That’s why we believe the battle for the top spot in this generation will get more and more exciting after every tournament. Here’s a LINK so you can keep a close eye on everything that’s happening.

GENERATION 2017

Let’s tell you right away that this isn’t a generation in which YOUNG TEAM climbed the rankings thanks to the tournament in Ohrid. They couldn’t, since they were already in first place, and after winning gold in Ohrid, they only strengthened their position at the top of the standings.

Instead, FER PLEJ climbed by as many as 11 places, moving into a tie for ninth. They achieved this thanks to their silver medal at the WBC CUP.

Meanwhile, after the tournament in Ohrid, the standings expanded by as many as five new names: MONDANO, Skopje; USKANA, Kičevo; ULTRAS KIDS; AS UNITED, Struga; and FORTUNA 09 ER 7.

We hope this trend of expanding the standings continues. Until then, take a look at the current top teams:

1. YOUNG TEAM
2. AERODROM, Skopje
3. AZZURI KIDS, Radoviš
4. FORCA
5. EDEN NA EDEN, Mogila

We’ll follow what happens next in this generation together – you via this LINK, and we’ll do it as best we can.

GENERATION 2018

This generation now has 25 teams that have earned AFT points. Thanks to their good performances at the tournament in Ohrid, ULTRAS KIDS (silver in Ohrid), USKANA (now tied for 15th place) and EVROFUDBAL (currently in eighteenth place) have appeared in the rankings for the first time this season.

MONDANO, thanks to winning the bronze medal in Ohrid, are now in second place in the standings, while YOUNG TEAM stayed true to form and improved their position thanks to the points from Ohrid – they’re now in tenth place.

If we look at the top five teams:

1. VODNO, Skopje
2. MONDANO
3. FER PLEJ
4. FORCA
5. PARTIZAN FUDBAL KIDS, Skopje

The differences in points earned are small, so every next point will be worth its weight in “pure gold” to those hoping to reach the top.

Follow what’s happening via this LINK and let us know if you hear about a tournament, so we don’t miss recording those points too.

GENERATION 2019

No, we’re not going to keep repeating where the changes in this generation are coming from. You all know by now, and we’re getting tired of saying it ourselves – even though Ohrid really is a beautiful city.

Of course, YOUNG TEAM won the silver medal (at our, um, unknown location) over the weekend and moved into second place in the standings.

On the other hand, what’s nice to see is five new teams in the rankings: ULTRAS KIDS (in tenth place), SPORT BROTHERS from Ohrid (in fifteenth), and three teams tied for seventeenth place – MONDANO, EUROFUDBAL and USKANA.

So, we now have 24 teams in the standings, and we hope that’s not where it stops.

But you, at least, stop for a moment and check which five teams are at the top this week:

1. EUROSPORT, Kumanovo
2. YOUNG TEAM
3. NEGOTINO
4. BIDŽO, Kumanovo
5. PARTIZAN FUDBAL KIDS

So, things are interesting even in the generation of the youngest footballers, those under eight, and that’s why we’re sharing this LINK so you can keep following what happens next.

GENERATION 2020

They say the youngest are also the cutest. That’s true at training and at matches, but perhaps it’s still not time for them to show what they can do at tournaments.

We don’t know the exact reason, but for now cobwebs have gathered on this generation’s nonexistent standings table. No teams have recorded AFT points, so we have no reason to invite you to follow this generation on our website.

BUT, a big “but” – we do encourage you to follow and cheer them on wherever they play: at the grounds of football schools and clubs, on the pitches “between the apartment buildings,” and anywhere else they find a suitable place to play football.

Because there’s nothing better than children of that age taking part in sports, spending time together and enjoying the game.

All that remains for us is to wish them a happy childhood that lasts as long as possible.
