AFT SERBIA: MID-OCTOBER

Naslovna slika AFT Ranking AFT Srbija
Over the past seven days, we recorded tournaments in Sjenica, Zrenjanin, Stapar and Ravni Topolovac, but teams from Serbia were also active at tournaments across the region. So, let's check the current standings in the AFT rankings by age group.

GENERATION 2020
There are currently 20 teams in this generation that have earned AFT points. There were no tournaments over the past week featuring youngsters from this age group, so the standings remain unchanged. The top 5 teams are:
1.    MERIDIANA, Novi Sad
2.    JEDINSTVO, Rumenka
3.    VOŠINI KLINCI, Novi Sad
4.    FK SRBOBRAN
5.    AKADEMIJA BAMBI, Zrenjanin

See the rankings of the other teams at THIS LINK

GENERATION 2019
This much larger generation, in which as many as 87 teams have earned AFT points so far, also saw no notable changes among the top 20. In fact, according to our indicators, there were no changes among the other teams either—but those indicators can be wrong.

At the top of this generation's table are:
1.    MERIDIANA
2.    COERVER AF, Novi Pazar
3.    FK POLET, Karavukovo
4.    (three teams tied on points) CRVENA ZVEZDA, FK SPARTAK, Subotica, and FK NOVI PAZAR

If that's not enough for you, check where your favorite team stands at the following LINK

GENERATION 2018
Exactly 120 teams are listed in this age group's table. Looking at the top 20, there have been no changes in their rankings (according to the indicators), which means the real football “battles” are still to come.

The current top 5 teams are:
1.    VOJVODINA
2.    MLADI VUKOVI, Kikinda
3.    CRVENA ZVEZDA
4.    VUK, Paraćin
5.    FK RADNIČKI, Valjevo

At THIS LINK, you can follow changes after each tournament is entered.

GENERATION 2017
There are 119 teams in the boys' and girls' under-10 age group. I know you won't be too pleased to hear it, but things are quiet among the top 20 here too.

The top 5 teams by AFT points earned remain:
1.    CRVENA ZVEZDA
2.    (two teams share this position) VOJVODINA and FA SPARKS KMF, Novi Pazar
3.    (two teams also share this place) PARTIZAN and MLADI VUKOVI

You can keep following the crowded top of this generation's rankings, as well as all the other changes, at this LINK

GENERATION 2016
We almost described the table for the generation with the most teams earning AFT points (128 of them are “on the list”) as “quiet” too—but as far as the top 20 teams are concerned, FK ŽELEZNIČAR from Lajkovac made sure that wasn't entirely true.

Over the weekend, the team from Lajkovac “vacationed” in Mali Lošinj, Croatia, and came back from their first GRAND PRIX tournament with enough points to tie for twelfth place.

Congratulations to them. The top 5 still stand as follows:
1.    CRVENA ZVEZDA
2.    VOJVODINA
3.    PARTIZAN
4.    FC DERBY, Novi Sad
5.    FK SPARTAK, Subotica

GENERATION 2015
There are 111 teams in this generation, and there have also been a couple of significant changes in the top 20. This week, it's time to applaud the achievements of OFK SENJAK, Valjevo (who finished third in Ohrid at the WEST BALKAN CHILDREN`S CUP) and thus “climbed” to fifth place in the table; as well as FK SLOBODA from Donji Tovarnik (who finished second in Herceg Novi at the FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENT)—currently tied for 12th place.

The top 5 have therefore changed, and now stand as follows:
1.    PARTIZAN
2.    ČUKARIČKI
3.    VOJVODINA
4.    COERVER AF, Novi Pazar
5.    OFK SENJAK, Valjevo
Anyone who wants more information about the standings of all teams in this generation can find it at this LINK

GENERATION 2014
The oldest generation in the AFT system this season currently has 80 teams in its table. We recorded three significant changes among the 20 highest-ranked teams.

All three changes came as a “result” of strong performances at the already-mentioned WBC CUP in Ohrid. The football club ALEGRIA from Bački Petrovac is now sixth in the age-group table after being crowned champions in Ohrid.

FK JEDINSTVO, from Ub, is now tied for 14th place after winning silver in Ohrid; while OFK SENJAK, despite going home empty-handed in Macedonia, earned enough AFT points to tie for seventeenth place.

The top five teams have held on to their positions, so the top of the age group currently looks like this:
1.    PARTIZAN
2.    ČUKARIČKI
3.    CRVENA ZVEZDA
4.    APOLON 4, Kragujevac
5.    VOJVODINA

We're rooting for APOLON 4 to keep disrupting the “big four” of Serbian children's football, and you can root for whoever you like and follow the changes via this LINK

That's all for this weekend's changes in AFT Serbia. We'll continue following the teams and tournaments, and you can keep following us on FACEBOOK or INSTAGRAM to be among the first to find out what's happening in the world of children's football in our region.
