So, forget how our national teams have played in recent weeks; it’s time for the brighter side of regional football –
IT’S TIME FOR CHILDREN’S FOOTBALL!
This week, as last week, we’re highlighting the most notable changes in the national rankings. For everything else you’re interested in, follow
THIS LINK, then select the “icon” representing the country you’re interested in and “surf” through all the age groups, or choose your own way to follow your favorite team or teams.
SERBIA – FK SPARKS KMF, KOSMET, COERVER AF AND THE ŠABAC SIDES MADE THEIR MARK ON THE WEEKEND
2014 generation –
PARTIZAN, ČUKARIČKI and ZVEZDA are still at the top, while
COERVER AF (sharing ninth place) and
ŽELEZNIČAR from Pančevo (in fourteenth place) are the teams we would single out in the top 20, thanks to the progress they made with good performances at the
COERVER CUP.
2015 generation -
PARTIZAN, ČUKARIČKI and VOJVODINA are at the top, but our picks to highlight this week are: ranking-list “debutants” and, currently, sixth-placed
FK RUDAR from Kosovska Mitrovica (
who finished third in Novi Pazar).
Then there’s
BE READY from Mladenovac, whose excellent finish in
Macedonia at the EUROSPORT CUP helped them climb to twelfth place.
Also worth mentioning is T6 NIKA, who (after the COERVER CUP) climbed 65 places to reach 19th.
2016 generation –
ZVEZDA, VOJVODINA and PARTIZAN are holding on to the top spots, but
OFK BEOGRAD and
FA SPARKS KMF (Novi Pazar) have arrived straight from the
COERVER CUP to seventh and ninth place, respectively, in our rankings.
We’ll also mention
NAPREDAK from Kruševac,
AF TIKA TAKA and
SUNRISE (both teams from Šabac), and
COERVER AF—and you can check why we’re doing so.
2017 generation –
ZVEZDA lead the way, but
VOJVODINA have moved into second place, alongside
FK SPARKS KMF (from Novi Pazar).
In tenth place now is
MERIDIANA from Novi Sad, while the team in eleventh is
ŠAMPION 2014 from Leskovac (who had a great time in
North Macedonia and brought back a good haul of AFT points).
The team
COERVER AF has also “appeared” in the top 20, making its ranking-list debut at the same time.
2018 generation – In the top two spots are
VOJVODINA and
MLADI VUKOVI from Kikinda. In third place currently is
CRVENA ZVEZDA, while
BISTIRCA from Novi Sad and
SUNRISE from Šabac have also improved their positions (into the top 20).
Still, this week’s “star” is
KOSMET from Leposavić, who broke into the top 20 after a good performance in Novi Pazar (
climbing an impressive 67 places).
2019 generation –
MERIDIANA are first, while ranking-list debutants
COERVER AF have climbed to second place. Similarly, after the
COERVER CUP,
NOVI PAZAR improved their position and now share fourth place.
It’s also worth mentioning the success of
JEDINSTVO from Tutin, who
reached tenth place after the tournament in Novi Pazar.
2020 generation – There are no changes among the top twenty teams here, so we’ll simply remind you that the top three are –
MERIDIANA, JEDINSTVO (Rumenka) and
VOŠINI KLINCI.
BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA – ARE YOU AFRAID WHEN THE “MANIACS” AND “PRISONERS” ARE THE HAPPIEST?
2020 generation - So far, only three teams have earned points in this age group –
SPORTISIMO and
UNITED (both from Bijeljina) and
PODRINJE from Janja. So, no changes.
2019 generation –
GLASINAC (Sokolac),
TEMPO (East Sarajevo) and
ROMANIJA (Pale) lead this age group. There were no changes among the top 20 teams.
2018 generation – Different names at the top –
ALFA (Trebinje),
BAMBI SOKO (Višegrad) and, once again,
ROMANIJA – but the same picture among the top twenty teams. All quiet, with no changes.
2017 generation –
TEMPO,
FK SLOBODA (Tuzla) and
TANGO (Sarajevo) are currently the top three teams in this
age group, but here, too, there have been no “movements” among the top twenty teams.
2016 generation –
FK SARAJEVO and
FK SOKOLAC stand alone in their respective top positions, while three teams share third place –
OFK SPARTAK and BORAC (both from Banja Luka) and Sarajevo’s
“ŽELJO”.
FK ŽELJEZNIČAR reached that shared third place after finishing
second in Novi Pazar, and we’re “afraid” they don’t plan to stop there. The other teams in the top 20 seem satisfied with their positions, as they didn’t change them over the weekend.
2015 generation – Some remember the story of Baš-Čelik, while others can now see that
ČELIK from Zenica lead the teams in this age group. They won the
COERVER CUP, so why shouldn’t they also reach the top of their age group? They’ve only just appeared in the rankings.
We’re waiting to see what they have planned next. Besides them, the only other team to move “up” among the top 20 was
BAMBINOSI from Sarajevo, while everyone else shifted a little to make room for them.
2014 generation – There aren’t many changes among the top 20 teams in this age group, either. It is led by
SLOGA (Doboj) and
FK SARAJEVO, but their biggest city rivals,
FK ŽELJEZNIČAR, are now in third place.
They made great use of their “visit” to Novi Pazar, and now we’re waiting for the clash between Koševo and Grbavica—but only the sporting kind, on the football pitch.
CROATIA – GOLMANIA, LINO AND MALI ZMAJ – “FILLED OUT” THE AFT RANKINGS
2014 generation – Not even a “breath of wind” in this age group among the top 20 teams after the weekend. It is led by
HNK HAJDUK,
NK ISTRA (Pula) and
KUSTOŠIJA (Zagreb), so we’re waiting for
PRVI KORACI to shake things up a little in the rankings.
2015 generation – Until this weekend, only
NK RIJEKA had earned AFT points in this age group (and they are now in second place), but as of two days ago, they’ve been joined by –
NK ADRIATIC and
HAJDUK (both from Split),
ZADARNOVA,
NK ABECEDA (Murvica),
HNK ŠIBENIK and
ZAGREB.
They have all been “lined up” according to their results at the
17th edition of the MALI ZMAJ tournament in Makarska (part of a single tournament together with the LINO CUP)
2016 generation – The
GOLMANIA CUP and, in turn, the
LINO CUP and MALI ZMAJ are mostly “to blame” for the changes in this age group. At the top are
HAJDUK and
DINAMO, but
NK RIJEKA are now following them from third place.
It’s also worth mentioning
JARUN from Zagreb, as well as
JADRAN from Poreč and
NK ABECEDA, because they’re also now among the top 20 teams.
2017 generation –
ŠN DU TALENT (Dubrovnik) and
NK OMIŠ used the
LINO CUP to make their ranking-list debuts, while
DUBRAVA TIM KABEL (Zagreb) improved its position among the top twenty teams after the
GOLMANIA CUP-a. The top is still controlled by
DINAMO, HAJDUK and NK VARAŽDIN.
2018 generation –
DINAMO are first, while
HAJDUK and
HNK GORICA (Velika Gorica) share second place after this weekend.
Meanwhile,
JADRAN LUKA (Ploče),
ZADARNOVA,
NK ZAGOREC (Krapina) and
NK ARBANASI (Zadar) have improved their positions and moved into the “upper half of the table” in this age group, so we wanted to mention them, too.
2019 generation – Total “chaos” in this age group after the
GOLMANIA CUP and the
LINO CUP. All of a sudden, the ranking list was joined by
NK ADRIATIC (Split),
TREŠNJEVKA (Zagreb),
NK SOLIN,
NK POLET (Sv. Klara),
CROATIA (Stankovci),
NOVI JELKOVEC (Zagreb),
OLIMP (Zagreb),
PRIMORAC (Biograd na Moru),
NOVA ZORA (Sv. Filip i Jakov) and
NK PAKOŠTANE—and it would take up half a page just to mention them all.
2020 generation – This age group is led by three Zagreb teams –
NK STUDENTSKI GRAD,
MAKSIMIR and
ŠN PODSLJEME. All three, along with the other eight teams that earned AFT points in the 2026/27 season, held on to their positions.
