AFT RANKING LIST: A, WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE CLUB?

The first half of September is behind us. We have had two major tournaments and a bunch of smaller ones. It's time to check the status on the AFT ranking list and to commend all those who have been "diligently collecting" points over the past weekend.

Some teams have "appeared" on the list, so to speak – out of nowhere. Some have jumped dozens of places and found themselves among the best.

Now you can also follow these changes on our website and easily determine how much your team, or a team you cherish, has changed its position on the regional or national AFT table.

And for those who want to know even more, we have prepared this week's report on the overall ranking of teams by generations. Buckle up, we're taking off!

U7 (year 2020) - LITTLE BIRDS HAVE FLOWN IN - 7 "LOLA" FROM THE PLAINS!
If you have read previous reports, you know that the team NK Lumen, from Varaždin (with 13 points) has been at the top for a few weeks now, and that NK Olimp from Zaprešić, as well as FK MERIDIANA, Novi Sad and 1. MAJ, Ruma (all with 10 points each) are tied for second place. After this weekend, there are no changes in the youngest generation, but it should be noted what we forgot to mention last time.

A total of 7 teams "jumped" onto this ranking list last week and they are all from Vojvodina. In addition to the already mentioned MERIDIANA and the 1. MAJ team, their place in the competition of children under 7 years old has also been found by: TRGOVAČKI (Sr. Mitrovica), KRILA KRAJINE (Bačka Palanka), OLIMPICO (Bački Jarak) AKADEMIJA BAMBI (Zrenjanin) and PRIMERA (Novi Sad).
Who else will join this "flock" of the sweetest footballers can be followed at THIS LINK

U8 (year 2019) – ONE SWALLOW DOES NOT MAKE A SPRING...
... But just that it is not autumn and one tournament CAN change a lot. When it comes to the 2019 generation – the mentioned change was mostly caused by the ILINDEN CUP. As many as 3 teams from the top four positions have reached these high positions by earning points in Skopje, so EUROSPORT (Kumanovo) and BIDŽO (Kumanovo) are now in first and third place on our ranking list, while PARTIZAN DR (Dračevo) has reached fourth place.

There are still many changes on the list, which now consists of as many as 89 teams that have earned AFT points. Some teams have "jumped" dozens of places, some have dropped a little, and some have "appeared" on it (after ILINDEN) like a rainbow after the rain.
To avoid retelling everything, here is a LINK, so you can explore it yourself.

U9 (year 2018) - “AND KNOW THAT GOD KNOWS FOR THE HOLY NAME THAT, I LOVE YOU... ”
... (guess the name of the club at the end of the verse). Perhaps the guys from HNK GORICA wouldn't want to finish this rhyme, but I believe that the fans of the team that is currently in first place on the ranking list in the 2018 generation will be able to sing even more than that one verse.

Alongside them, the team from Velika Gorica is being "watched" from the sidelines by the Novi Sad VOJVODINA, which is now in third place, just behind the Turopolje team. Of course, once again, the blame goes to the ILINDEN CUP. In the top 10, there is another team from Zagreb, which we believe has a chance to be LOKOMOTIVA of this entire generation. But, let's not predict, these are just the first steps in the new season, and the real FIRST STEPS are yet to come.
So, popcorn in hand and follow how the position of as many as 216 teams currently in this generation will change at THIS LINK.

U10 (year 2017) - “IF PERA HAD GONE TO THE POLICE ON TIME...”
... And if “Zvezda” had not won the ILINDEN CUP (ah, how long will this ILINDEN last), we would now have as many as 6 teams in first place in this generation. However, the tournament in the capital of North Macedonia took place, and now at the "head" of all 180 clubs in this generation stands “Zvezda” – whether they like it or not.

The Zagreb DINAMO can also boast of a good performance in Skopje (which has brought them to a tie for second place), just like the team AERODROM from Skopje, which is now in eighth position.

However, to avoid praising just one tournament, last weekend the PODGORICA TROPHY was also held, which FUDBALITO from Podgorica took advantage of to, by earning as many as 100 points, reach tie for second place (along with the Zagreb team and 3 other teams).

We cannot keep track of such a crowd at the top positions ourselves, and next week we are expecting the “ĆIRIN” tournament and the situation can change very quickly, so we invite you to also follow the further developments in this generation through THIS LINK.

U11 (year 2016) - “...DELIJA ALWAYS AND RED STAR FOREVER...
If the first place on the AFT ranking list for the 2016 generation "sang" who is hiding on it, it would have to use Bajaga's verses: “My address, Marakana, north...” Now that it is clear to everyone who is first, we are left to see what else we could highlight this week.

For example, if we were to choose someone to receive the “golden ball” for the best performance this week, that award would probably go to ZLATNA LOPTA from Podgorica. They managed to "appear" on our ranking list among the top 10 teams with excellent play at the PODGORICA TROPHY.

Similarly, STARI AERODROM, also from Podgorica, has (also due to the Podgorica tournament) "jumped" as many as 31 places on the table and is now in tenth position. Even better has fared AF ALEXANDRO, who (because, you guessed it – ILINDEN) surpassed 29 teams and reached a high third place in this generation.

A total of 248 teams have so far earned points on this AFT list. “Zvezda” dominates, but we are convinced that there are still many quality teams here that would like to change that. Don't wait for changes to surprise you, but be ready for them at THIS LINK

U12 (year 2015) - “BLACK-WHITE, BLACK-WHITE...
...are both first and second on the table. Namely, the Belgrade Partizan and Čukarički are still in the same positions they were in, but in third place has "parked" PARK from Skopje (guess which tournament they were champions at).

Due to the same tournament, FORCA, Skopje and BOREC JUNIOR from Veles secured their place in the top 10; while due to the tournament in Podgorica among the same 10 their place has also been found by COERVER AF, Novi Pazar, as well as AKADEMIJA CITY from Podgorica.

Interestingly, unlike the previous 2 generations, there is no “Zvezda” either at the top or in sight here.
If you want to help us, try to find it among 165 teams of this generation at THE NEXT LINK.

U13 (year 2014) – WHO ABOUT WHAT, WE ABOUT “THOSE TWO TOURNAMENTS”...
If someone were to ask you what is common for APOLON 4 from Kragujevac, SLOGA from Doboj, EUROSPORT from Kumanovo and HNK HAJDUK from Split – you would answer that none of those teams is from a capital... And, you would probably be "booed".

The correct answer is that all four teams are "new" among the top 10 on our ranking list for the oldest generation we are following this season. The first three found themselves there because of that tournament in Skopje, and the Split team due to that other one in Podgorica.

Well, we will dream of those two tournaments...
Because of them, there have been changes among the remaining 163 teams on this list, so it is best for you to look at it yourself HERE.

We have no choice but to bring this report to a close. I know you won't believe us, but ILINDEN CUP and PODGORICA TROPHY are not sponsors of our page. However, they could become so if someone tells them how many times we mentioned them in just one text.

I believe we will mention them COMPLETELY BY ACCIDENT a few more times on FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM, so I expect they will remember us next year and send us invitations for the whole AFT team.
Joking aside, “we'll read each other” next week, and until then – sports greetings from the AFT team!
